For over 20 years, millions of people just like you have experienced the proven results of the one and only Botox Cosmetic. BOTOX COSMETIC® is a purified protein injected into the muscles, giving your face a more refreshed appearance. It enhances your unique look without sacrificing the natural expressions in your face. You will start to see results in as little as 24 hours that can last 4 months. To find out what BOTOX COSMETIC® can do for you, we invite you to schedule a complementary consultation with Dr. Bowdridge.
Each client receives a complimentary consultation prior to Botox treatment. During your consultation, we can assess your needs and fully educate you about treatment and pricing for your particular concerns. We use Unit Pricing to determine the cost of your Botox procedure which allows you to pay only for what you need, rather than charging a flat rate for an area. Our price per unit is $10 with a minimum fee of $120. Because each client's needs are unique, the required number of units of Botox to achieve desired results will vary. We invite you to schedule your complimentary Botox consultation with Dr. Bowdridge or our Nurse Injector, Jessica Gardiner, RN online: BOOK NOW
To decrease the chance of bruising at the injection site, please avoid all NON-PRESCRIPTION blood thinning medications and supplements for 1 week prior to your Botox® appointment. Avoid taking Aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDS) such as such as Ibuprofen, Motrin and Aleve. In addition, very high doses of some Vitamins and supplements can thin your blood and increase the chance of bruising. Please notify Dr. Bowdridge if you are taking Warfarin, Coumadin, Plavix, or any other blood thinners for a medical condition.
Will my face still show emotions and expressions?
BOTOX COSMETIC® is intended to enhance your look, not change it - you can still smile and be expressive.
When will I see results and how long will they last?
You'll begin to see results as soon as 24 hours after your treatment, and the lines may continue to fade for up to one week afterwards. The effects can last up to 4 months, sometimes longer.
What is the treatment like?
A BOTOX COSMETIC® treatment is quick and simple, with no downtime. After meeting with Dr. Bowdridge to determine your desired outcome, the procedure itself takes only 10 to 15 minutes. A tiny amount of BOTOX COSMETIC® is injected with a fine needle into the muscles being treated - this process is virtually painless.
What happens when the treatment stops working?
The effects of BOTOX COSMETIC® will gradually disappear until the treated area regains movement. For best results, continue treating the area every four months, or however often is suggested by Dr. Bowdridge.
How long has BOTOX COSMETIC® been available in Canada?
BOTOX COSMETIC® has been approved for use since 2001.
Are there creams that are better than Botox Cosmetic?
No scientific evidence supports that creams work better than Botox Cosmetic. While creams work well on the surface of the skin to help with skin texture, BOTOX COSMETIC® works below the surface of the skin to relax the muscles that are the root cause where lines and wrinkles form.
